I literally just typed that question to Paul! LOL! I’ll share what he says!

From Paul: Under docs, you can create a document that everyone in the group can contribute to. The documents are just a repository for PDFS, photos, spreadsheets, etc.

I would not think there was a difference except the name (full vs abbreviation). I do not know though because this is all Alicia 🙂
